We live in a little area called University Heights - it's about 10 mins from downtown and 10 mins to the beach.

[ Reply | Options ]we're both originally from ca-dh went ucsd-but we've been on the east coast for 14 yrs; dh has a likely job opportuntity to move back-and we're excited-although worried about dc's adjustment

[ Reply | Options ]baltimore-and my parents and bro moved here 7yrs ago from sf bay area to be by us, but they've said they'll move wherever we go; i actually think warmer weather would be better for them too as they get older; we're taking our vacation to sd and disneyl in june; how long have you been in sd?

I moved to San Diego a year ago but grew up in LA (went to college in nyc and was born in ct) It's so lovely here - the weather can't be beat and there is so much to do - That said, I do miss the seasons when the holidays come I miss the cold and snow.

When I ride in a taxi cab with my DC I:
- Use a carseat
- Buckle him/her in his/her own seat
- Hold him/her on my lap
- I'd never ride in a taxi with my DC, it's much too dangerous!
