300/week is not bad for live in. why don't you myob, you have no idea what the situation really is. people like you suck
[ Reply | Options ]NP: 300 is horrible for a live in who works 7 days. not to mention hiring an illegal is wrong. you wouldn't be able to check their background and who knows if they have any vaccinations?
[ Reply | Options ]you need to get out of your bubble. for some of these people, $300/wk and expenses is more than they would ever make in their home countries
[ Reply | Options ]so that makes it fair? shoot. let's start working their kids in factories then. after all, that's better than they would get in their own countries.

if they are here illegally, they should not be working at all. they need to leave. it's a burden on our health care system among many other things.

please. tons of parents don't vaccinate their kids and this is what you focus on for an undocumented nanny?

i had a nanny that was illegal. and i paid her what many on ub would call slave wages. i paid as much as i could, and gave her as much time off as i could. she did not feel taken advantage of. she liked her job. she even calls to check on ds a year later

When I ride in a taxi cab with my DC I:
- Use a carseat
- Buckle him/her in his/her own seat
- Hold him/her on my lap
- I'd never ride in a taxi with my DC, it's much too dangerous!
