Anyone read Dooce's post about coming to NYC. I usually think she is funny, but the comment about the cab driver shooting someone in queens is a really dated joke. I think she is a little out of touch and sheltered. (and yes I know it was a joke, but no ne makes jokes about crime in NYC anymore. It's one of the safest cities in hte country)

When I ride in a taxi cab with my DC I:
- Use a carseat
- Buckle him/her in his/her own seat
- Hold him/her on my lap
- I'd never ride in a taxi with my DC, it's much too dangerous!
