- i got gifts after DCs were born - jewelery to pass on to each DC. i think it's a beautiful way to mark the occasion, and we enjoy celebrating things (like anniversaries, birthday, christmas) so i am not anti-gift. i love hermes, and have several 7k handb handbags. i donate over 10% of HHI to charity, and i am frugal in other ways.

  - Actually, plenty of moms can't afford $$$$ nannies. And don't buy designer everything. Only in NY (and only in the last few years) did a nanny warrent as large a salary as a social worker. Or a teacher. With Master's Degrees.

Actually, plenty of moms can't afford $$$$ nannies. And don't buy designer everything. Only in NY (and only in the last few years) did a nanny warrent as large a salary as a social worker. Or a teacher. With Master's Degrees.
