  • Help me figure out where to live. We need a place to live for a year or so, so we're looking to rent. dh works downtown and we're looking at suburbs in Jersey because mil is part-time babysitter for us and lives in jersey. Need somewhere with a decent school for dd, but can't live anywhere crazy expensive. Any ideas?

      • op: south jersey, but we used to live in the city and she hated crossing the river (and paying the extra toll and sitting in traffic) so we're trying to stay on the west side of the Hudson river.
