  • Really vacuous body-image question for other short moms I am 5'3.5" and have always bought regular inseam pants, which are sometimes too long. More recently I've been trying petites, but they are often too short. I've always thought of myself as having proportionately short legs, but the petites being too short has made me realize that perhaps I don't. Anyone else around my height care to share their experience with this? Do regular or petite pants fit you better?

    • you are at the top top end of petites. I'm 5'4" and in the same limbo as you - regular pants too long, petites too short

    • I am your height and I buy regular pants and hem them. On rare occasion, and with non-designer clothes, sometimes the length is ok, but I typically hem, especially designer jeans.

    • i'm 5'2" and cannot wear the petite pants -- they just don't hang right. however, the petite jackets and blouses and tees are ideal.

    • I have the same issue with most pants, petite or regular. I usually just buy the regular length and have them hemmed
