If my 4 yo ds doesn't really need a SEIT, do I not agree to it since it will harm his chances of getting into private ongoing?

teachers said it might help him, but it's not a must. If I can get the services, it won't hurt. He likes to play alone and doesn't care to interact with a group. He participates in everything and is happy, but teachers want him to have a real friend th he goes to each day. I personally think this is just him. Ped doesn't think he needs one at all since he is very bright and social with adults and one on one.

If the school tells you he needs one and you don't agree to it, you're being uncooperative (and possibly causing stress for your kid and other kids and teachers); THOSE things will definitely harm your dc's chances of getting into private ongoing.

When I ride in a taxi cab with my DC I:
- Use a carseat
- Buckle him/her in his/her own seat
- Hold him/her on my lap
- I'd never ride in a taxi with my DC, it's much too dangerous!
