    • np: can I ask what a low muscle tone issue is? I've heard it mentioned here, but am not sure what it is.

      • it can range from mild to severe. DD has mild and only in upper torsoe/neck. I noticed she did not hold her arms firm when I pick her up (only able to tell difference because she is #2 and #1 was not like that). and before 4 mos or so she wouldn't re really hold her head up well. Ped says some people just have lower tone in muscles, and in some cases it requires PT. he said low tone people make good ballerinas etc, they will never be "bulky" or solid in terms of muscles.

        • gotcha. I think I know some women like that (even though in good shape, their muscles aren't big and aren't very hard)
