  • anyone ever buy a house that needed a new basement, literally? jackhammer the floor, etc.

    • We looked into digging out our basement (right now ceiling is about 6.5' in some places, slopes in others. It would have cost $100k to dig out and finish HALF of it (about 500 sq.ft.) so we bailed. It's a boulder foundation which is why it's so $$
