We broke down and listed our condo with a realtor and I'm strangely relieved. We were doing FSBO and just didn't get the right buyers/traffic. I think he'll be able to sell it, others in our area have been selling.

        Oh thanks! It's hard to sell 2BRs in Hoboken, everybody wants 3. But the 3 BRs are around $1MM, we were asking $749K for the 2BR. It's a brokers problem now, not mine!

- FSBO is really, really hard to do. Most buyers have Realtors, and most Realtors ignore FSBOs because it creates more work for them and it doesn't support Realtors.

  - Yes, it is so hard, esp when you're in an area where the Realtors run the show. But that's ok, it's 4% and we can deal with it.

  - No, we just did ads in local papers, fsbo.com and forsalebyowner.com, etc. Didn't want to do the MLS, figured it would get there with a broker.

Oh thanks! It's hard to sell 2BRs in Hoboken, everybody wants 3. But the 3 BRs are around $1MM, we were asking $749K for the 2BR. It's a brokers problem now, not mine!
