On BNET: How to play hooky more effectively

  • help! my 7mo will NOT eat solid foods. i've been trying everyday for a month. she doesn't totally gag anymore, but i'm lucky if i get a teaspoon in her. db#1 was not like this, i'm at a loss! any suggestions?

      • did you stop for awhile, or kept at it every day? i've been trying, but she shuts her mouth and if i get anything in she spits it out

        • ped wanted me to keep trying every day - even just to put her in the high chair, offer the spoon, then take her out - just so she got the routine - it was yogurt that she really liked eventually

    • it took me 3 months to get mine to eat solids well - try cheerios or gerber puffs (which are softer)
