what is your nap and bed routine with your 2yo?

- My 2 yo has bath and book reading and is in bed by 8:30. Wakes up at 8:30. Takes a 3 to 3 1/2 hour nap every day from about 1 or so till 4 or 4:30.

      - Maybe not. Don't change anything though! My dd started sleeping better when I moved her to her bed, but nothing like that!

        How long did it take for her to get used to sleeping in it? Also, when she wakes up, does she call for you and wait or does she get out of bed and come looking for you?

        A week. She never gets out of bed. She calls and waits. She got out of bed for about a week or so, and then it became super easy.

        I think that she was excited. She like us sitting in her bed at bedtime reading, snuggling, etc. When she got out, I explained briefly that she had to stay in her bed and that I would be in the next room if she really needed something.

    - op: I used to worry about whether his naptime would cut into his nighttime sleep, but it doesn't. He doesn't wake up at all during the night. He's a very healthy kid and is generally always in a good mood. Maybe I should get that much sleep!

^^naps 1-2:30/3, sleeps 7-6:30

My 2 yo has bath and book reading and is in bed by 8:30. Wakes up at 8:30. Takes a 3 to 3 1/2 hour nap every day from about 1 or so till 4 or 4:30.

nap: change, 1 book, 1 song, into bed bed: brush teeth, bath, pjs, 2 books, talk about the next day, 3 songs, bed

2 hour afternoon nap, 12 hours at night: 7am-7pm
