If you didn't think toddler beds were a waste of $ (2 younger sibs and younger cousins on the way) would you advise buying one then?
13 replies [ Reply | Watch | Options ]i think they are cute and cozy, and if you don't mind switching dc twice, then go ahead. plus you can use the crib bedding for the toddler bed. i think it depends on the dc. i switched 2.5yo to a toddler bed but her crib coverted to one so it made sen sense to us. we are putting db (coming soon) in a cosleeper in the meantime and will move dd to a twin bed by end of year probably.
[ Reply | Options ]No regrets on buying one here. Moved 1st dc at 2.2 so new db could have crib - and they shared a room, so it was nice to have the extra space. Moved almost 5 yr old to big bed and now 2.4 yr old to toddler. Eventually will convert twin into a bunk bed, but want to wait until both dc are a little older and this way I have more room with a twin and toddler. Gave crib to cousin (which promped the latest switch) who will be getting toddler bed too. Well worth the $100.

When I ride in a taxi cab with my DC I:
- Use a carseat
- Buckle him/her in his/her own seat
- Hold him/her on my lap
- I'd never ride in a taxi with my DC, it's much too dangerous!
