Worried about 4 yo ds's reaction to nanny of 3.5 yrs leaving this week. He's talking about it and knows it's happening.

- Just be honest in an age appropriate way. If he is upset, encourage him to express himself, tell him he's entitled to his feelings, etc. What are circumstances?

- this is why its better to raise your own kids. dcs are young to experience the loss of a strong, important relationship. Its hard.

  - OR - what if we don't want to be bothered raising our own kids, and we think we've done them enough of a service just by squeezing them out. We have lunch dates to attend and manicures to get. We can't be bothered raising children!
