  • When people ask you what they can get for your DC for their birthday party, do you usually tell them?

    • if it's a close friend or relative, I tell them what dc has told me she wants. makes it easier on all. everyone else, "a book is fine"

    • sort of...I'll say, "ds loves anything dinosaurs" or "he's been wanting the blah blah blah books". I'm not specific, though. Just give them ideas of stuff he'll like.

    • Items under $25, usually arts and crafts stuff or catagories of stuff dc are really into or lacking and would like or books.

    • I tell them that I'm sure that my child will like anything that they get - and maybe I mention some things that my child likes such as arts & crafts projects, ponies, etc.
