Any therapists on line? Thinking of going back to school to become one - am attorney now. Thoughts?

- You'll make less money and frankly, won't be any more satisfied with life. Friends who are thereapists tell me it's hard and depressing to hear some of the sh*t they hear day after day.

- what do you want to do? private practice? get a clinical MSW and a LCSW...fastest route to private practice.

  - ditto, very happy with my work. It takes time and you have to eat some sh#t to get licensed, but now 5 yrs out, so so happy

- brother is an attorney and I'm a therapist, and sometimes I feel like the jobs are opposite. He fosters confrontation and division and I try to heal and bring people together (I'm a marriage/family counselor)
