I'm impressed. I think the B.Phil. is one of the hardest degrees in the liberal arts there. Did you guys meet there? Are you academics?
[ Reply | Options ]Yup, met there. I'm an academic, he's not. (Thanks for the BPhil shout-out -- most people have no idea!)

^^^I'm not in on Fridays and have a boatload of grading to do. I've decided to forgo it and take a few hours of simply being off
[ Reply | Options ]BA in history here and wanted BPhil but i was 2 courses shy. Love ove love Philosophy! Tell me who and what I should be reading now? Where did you go? Do you know who Leroy Rouner is?
[ Reply | Options ]No I don't know who Leroy Rouner is. History recommendations? Right now I am reading Andrew Marr's History of Modern Britain. He's a long term political analyst for the BBC- so his writing his great and it still has scholarly depth. I love philosophy t but man is it rigorous. I cheat with the Cambridge Companion to Philosophy

UrbanBaby Asks...
When I ride in a taxi cab with my DC I:
- Use a carseat
- Buckle him/her in his/her own seat
- Hold him/her on my lap
- I'd never ride in a taxi with my DC, it's much too dangerous!
