        • you can go to RE and get on clomid if you're not ovulating. Clomid trumps stress.

          • op: I tried it last month and it did not work. Does it really trump stress. I was a basket case on it.

            • what happened? did you have bad mood swings? did it cause you to have an argument w/someone? anyway, you should see an RE. if stress were a form of birth control, half of NYC wouldn't have babies.

                  • Op: you sound like me, went off meds to TTC and I am going back to psychatrist to put me back on meds. Stay on your meds!! My dh thinks the clomid made me crazy but I do not think I am much better this month. How long have you been ttc?

                    • oh, i am staying on my meds. i already went a little haywire on prometrium to induce my period. Am 36 and ttc since Nov. Only 2 periods since then. I don't ovulate. Everything else is great: my FSH is 2.8, HSG was normal, etc. I was derailed from fertility tx by a minor surgery I needed (unrelated), but I'll do my first Clomid/IUI cycle in late May.

                • NP: It's important to share that information with your dh. Important for you to have support, and important for him to know why you're acting differently

                      • op: little arguments that we have (which usually remain little) exploded. I became very emotional, yelling screaming. Instead of him being able to deal with it, he pushed my buttons even further.

                        • wow, very sorry to hear it. must be so stressful. well, now both of you know what to expect, so mb he'll be more careful/able to point out when you're being emotional. Were you aware of being more emotional in the moment and able to calm down, or was t only in hindsight that you realize your reaction was stronger than usual?

                        • op: now, I am going to try and control it. It was something that I was not used to and I let myself be taken by it. I am going to try and control it more. Iam also going to a psychiatrist for meds.
