    • totally depends on the venue, time of day, how formal, etc. Mine was 100 people, cost about $500/guest, very formal evening wedding with sit-down dinner, band, elaborate flowers etc.

      • op: we're actually looking into a bar location. it's a nice big room with lots of cool decor, luckily my boyfriends mom is a floral designer, so i'm set there.

    • you can save $ by having on an off night, serving buffet style, etc. A good caterer can help you come up with costs pp. Blue Plate is great on delivering a lot of bang for the buck. InStyle Wedding Mag also gives a lot of cost saving ideas.

      • I really hate buffet style, I'm always afraid I'm going to drop my plate on my way back to the table. I don't want to subject my guest to this fear. Ha. I think it's gonna cost $60 a head, and just over 100 people. Not too crazy.
