new to nyc. would like guidance on nursery/pre-K programs that are regarded as nurturing (rather than competitive) whose emphasis is on socialization. private preferred. geography not an issue. My dd will be 3 next year; so i will be applying this fall fo for these programs. also comfortable w/ religious programs (catholic, episcopal...but not necessary.) Many thanks.

midtwon west. but 1 minute away from port authority (underground access to subway) so can go downtown or uptown quite easily). thank you.
[ Reply | Options ]when exactly will dd be 3? if you apply this fall it would be for acceptance in fall of '09. if you want a place this fall, you might want to try www.parentsleague.org for help.

When I ride in a taxi cab with my DC I:
- Use a carseat
- Buckle him/her in his/her own seat
- Hold him/her on my lap
- I'd never ride in a taxi with my DC, it's much too dangerous!
