Any advice on how not to become bitter over why my poor DS has to have "issues"? jesus, I did everything right, I just feel like it's not fair for him to go through this.

ittta-when my 2nd dc was diagnosed w/SID ( and i know #3 has it too, although he hasn't been diagnosed) i cried about unfair it was; as time has passed i'm able to see all the great things about dc, and focus on the positive; just let yourself grieve, a then move on
[ Reply | Options ]You know, my DD is 5.5yo and we've been aware of issues since she was 4 mos. I am like you and still feel anger and misplaced resentment. Haven't figured it out yet myself. Just know that you're not the only one. I feel fortunate that I have here to vent and others can be so supportive. Hang in there!
