Due in August, have not had more than a tiny sip of wine here and there since Thanksgiving, and I KNOW I drank too much before ttc.

Not same. And it won't be. I think me and dh were drinking together a lot to deal with the void we both felt w/o kids.

[ Reply | Options ]I think not having kids allowed us to continue to behave like adolescents and live only for ourselves. I look forward to (and fear) needing to be present for dbs. Of course, it's something I will always have to monitor. I like my wine, and a glass or a night is not bad....beyond is where the judgement goes and the trouble lies.

When I ride in a taxi cab with my DC I:
- Use a carseat
- Buckle him/her in his/her own seat
- Hold him/her on my lap
- I'd never ride in a taxi with my DC, it's much too dangerous!
