  • Hmmm. What do you make of this? Ever since taking antibiotics for an ear infection, my 5 yr old has had a terribly upset stomach. Used to poop once a day, sometimes twice.....and now has been going 3-5 times a day. Normal poops I guess but I think it\ it's weird that she is going so often. Goes right when she wakes up and then after eating for the most part at every meal....and then again before bed. Is this worrisome? Worth a call to the ped?

    • It's a side effect of the med. Read the material that came with it

    • feed yogurt and probiotics. totally normal response to antibiotics, which killed the good intestinal flora in addition to the bacteria in the ear.
