i live well below my means. it feels good. i don't have to worry if i get laid off or can never work again. i don't even have THAT much money, peanuts compared to many new yorkers but i have a great exit plan and don't buy into all the crap you buy.

- we live well below our means too, but it allows us not only to not be so worried about a "rainy" day, but also it allows to splurge on the "crap" without worrying that we can't make the mortgage payment.
