How is TAG in UES like? It is one of the citywide program and I am wondering if we should consider it if DC makes a cut off. Because there seem to be over 500 DCs who are competing for Anderson and Nest. ...

- We toured it earlier this year and were impressed by what we saw. The neighborhood looks like it would be fine during the school hours. It is not very racially diverse, however, so you do need to feel comfortable having your child be in the minority.

it's not diverse. it is 2% white.

I know. It is just ridiculous that there are so many "gifted" kids and so few citywide spots. The sibling preference is the last insult

Is any TAG parents on? We need your feedback.

We toured it earlier this year and were impressed by what we saw. The neighborhood looks like it would be fine during the school hours. It is not very racially diverse, however, so you do need to feel comfortable having your child be in the minority.
