I've posted about this before - have a 7 w/o who does not nap & just gets so overtired. What did you guys do to get your 7 w/o to sleep? 5 s's don't really work. Should I put her down and leave, when she cries come in & comfort? I don't know what to ..

  - yes, but she doesn't stay asleep if I try to put her in her crib

    - I did end up holding mine a lot at that age. or i would sort of slowly move him onto his belly on the couch, since he couldn't roll and i stayed close by. he would stay asleep that way

    - is she swaddled? what about a sleep positioner? that's the trick for my ds

      - I swaddle her at night, so don't want to overdo it (miracle blanket says no more than 10 hours a day)...

        i didn't swaddle mine for naps either because it seemed to be his cue that it was night time and time for a long sleep

- at that age i would have done anything to make them nap, rock after nursing. It's way to young to CIO, imo.

- are you sure you are doing it right? does she sleep at night? i mean obv she sleeps sometimes so what triggers that?

  - she sleeps at night, I nurse her & put her in drowsy and down she goes. but not at all during the day

- Try and take her into a dark room. She may just need to be in a total womb-state to decompress.

- I used to rock back and forth in the stroller - but then I started following that 2 hour rule and started putting db back for naps at exactly 2 hours or a few minutes before and it was much easier because if I followed her cues, she'd end up getting over tired and much harder to get down.
