  • speaking of potty training--my 4.5yo ds still wakes up with a full pull-up every morning; will this just stop happening at some point (totally day-trained since 3rd b-day)

    • yeah, it happens a lot later for some kids than others. most peds don't consider it noteworthy until age 8

        • But at some point, you have to- if he drinks enough after he comes in from all that running around and with dinner- then he should be fine with liquids for an hour before bed

    • have you tried an incentive? ds was waking up wet & i thought we'd try for a week....no drinks after 6, potty b/4 bet & big cookie if you wake up dry. a few accidents, but he got it quick. right @ age 4...might be worth a try : )

    • My ds wears a pullup to bed but rarely wets it. Still, he won't wear underwear to bed. I'm fine with it
