Fashion moms, please help! I'm going back to work late May in a Senior Director job at a major company, dominated by men. It's a creative field but I don't want to dress too girlie or trendy. The guys wear khakis and button down shirts, sometimes ti ties. What should I wear to fit in? I've been out of the work force for nearly 2 years, am 20 lbs. overweight and have 2 pant suits currently in my closet, one from Banana, one from Ann Taylor. Don't have a lot of money to invest, maybe $1500 for a starter wardrobe.

[ Reply | Options ]I think simple skirts - aline or straight and pants (styles that could be suit pants) with shirts, knit sweater tops, blouses that are not too frilly. flats or heels are fine, just make sure the pants style goes w the shoe
