  • i'm really starting to get annoyed with my mother. she always volunteers last minute to watch db but never my 2 y.o. and i feel like he knows that she favors db over him. today, she said- "i'll watch the baby tomorrow" in front of him and i just sa no b/c i felt bad for him. he's a sweet boy but he is active. i just wish she would show some interest in him.

    • Tell her in an email and if she gets it she gets it if she doesn't she doesn't. If she doesn't you will have to give her another chance and then tell her while you love the fact she wants to keep the baby, you are going to have to put some breaks on a t is starting to hurt your sons feelings

        • then write it in a note. The point is to put it in writing so you can choose your words carefully and there is not offputting tone of voice. Also, there is no chance of argument and it gives her time to gather her thoughts before responding

      • ita. i have 2 yo twins and I know my mom would take my DD in a heartbeat but hesitate with my DS. He is a handful. No hard feelings here, it's not like my mom is young.
