Okay, on a lighter note, I just started wearing a new perfume that I really like (and I don't normally like any perfume) and it must have some secret love sauce in it. The grocery bagger helped me out with my bags and crossed Broadway with them to flag down a cab for me, then the taxi driver jumped out to help me unload everything and yesterday a kid professed his undying love for me on the subway, and another guy told me I looked beautiful. This kind of attention hasn't happened to me for about 10 years. I think I found my scent.

Are you sure it's not whatever led you to try a scent? Why change your stride all of a sudden?
[ Reply | Options ]Dh totally hates perfume, but he doesn't even notice this one. I hate perfume-y perfumes as well. The only reason I got this one was because it was summer and I work in a crappy office that smells like people's microwaved fish lunches (not kidding in th least), and I was desperate to smell something nice.

When I ride in a taxi cab with my DC I:
- Use a carseat
- Buckle him/her in his/her own seat
- Hold him/her on my lap
- I'd never ride in a taxi with my DC, it's much too dangerous!
