  • some of the women I know who are aging the WORST think that they look young for their age. I have no idea how I appear to others. Its impossible to judge yourself

    • I know for a fact I look young for my age. I get carded when I'm not with DH.

      • i'm also carded from time to time. altho i don't know that has as much to do with age as that they card everyone, just to be sure.

    • I came to the conclusion that I look young for my age, when othe people kept saying, "oh you are such a young mother - you're not even 30" and I was 36

      • well that is decent evidence. But when a friend who looks a good 10 years OLDER than she is (former swimmer. too much sun) said that she thought she looked young for her age, I came to the conclusion that one cannot judge for themself

        • i think looking young has several components - face, body, attitude and style. a really in shape body and young style can do a lot even if your face looks old. but a dowdy haricut and clothes and being overweight can make a young face look very old.
