  • I hate being a sahm, what does anyone like about it? I worked in fashion for 6 years, very demanding job and it was nothing compared to this, I fall into bed at 9pm

    • I work p/t & sah p/t, so I like the balance. I love spending time with my dd- playing, hanging out, cooking, doing chores, going for walks. I treasure these moments because they are fleeting

    • i like being mom to my son and being able to be around him all day. that's it. it's really hard and i also miss some of what i had in the working world. but i remember how stressful that was too. ain't nothin' easy.

        • I find this reply just a shade sanctimommyous in the "I like being a mom to my son". So do I but that doesn't require being a sahm imho.

    • i like being with my kids. I'm trying to raise them so they are good company! I like not having a boss or deadlines. I like the creativity of it--we do lots of interesting things: paint, travel, listen to and play music. I like not having a commute.

    • what I hate about sahm: the pay, the hours, you are on all the time. what I hate about being a wohm: The dress code, bosses, less time with db.
