  • if i rented in a particular school zone and later bought in a different zone would i have to switch kids to new school? TIA

      • unless it's obvious the family moved in for a month or so just to get proof of address. schools claim they will now crack down on this.

        • nah, i wouldn't do that. i just think when we move bck to manhattan it might be best to rent first, but later when we go to buy there are no guarantees we'll find the best apt in the same zone. of course, we'll try.
