  • why can't people just be happy with the new things dc can do without needing to compare to others?

    • I am thrilled to death by every milestone whether it is early, on time, or late. But I hate when I post "I'm so happy ds peed on the potty" and the first response is "how old?"

    • I think its normal to compare to see what the benchmarks are. Its interesting to see the variations. Of course, most of us are aware that because a 2 year old can write 'M' it doesn't make her a better person than another...
