had trouble breastfeeding after db was born. everyone kept telling me not to give her any formula so i kept at it, the baby nurse gave her an occasional bottle but now im freaking out that i was starving her those first few weeks. the lc ended up figuring out that (later wheni got the hang of it) db wasnt getting enough milk, even though she seemed satisfied (pooped off and fell asellep, uncurled her hands). i gave up after 2.5 weeks. db is 12 mos now and strong and healthy, but could there be lasting effects from thos first few weeks?
