    • My mother was an over-the-top makeup person. I barely wear anything, at all. She taught me to use shampoo & conditioner, to use moisturizing soap/wash for my body, and that's about it.

    • My mom always wore skirts -- I wear sweats around the house. My mom exercised. I do not. My mom had one child. I have 5.

    • my mom is horrible at that stuff though she throws on makeup sometimes and now gets manicures. never made room in her life for fitness, health etc. I am bad at it too but try to keep hands looking nice, hair trimmed, do yoga (though I haven't in a whil ) and jog a few times a week.
