if kids are in the sandbox and a 19 month old comes over & smashes their sand castle & picks up & throws sand and then the kids get mad, don't tell the 4 year olds that he's just a baby so it's ok for him to do that.
14 replies [ Reply | Watch | Options ]I'd walk my 19 mo away if he did that. And if my 4 yo had his sand castle smashed I would say "I know it's upsetting, but that little boy is too little to know better".
[ Reply | Options ]where is the 19mo's mother? No way would I let my kid wreak this much destruction
[ Reply | Options ]she came in right after the damage. then later on the kid was back in the sandbox throwing sand again and my dd started to kick sand back at him (which i yelled at her for) and the other mom said to my dd "stop being so nasty to him" and dd yelled "we he's being nasty to my little brother by throwing sand on him"

^^^and i mean the mom of the 19 month old was getting short w/the other 4 year olds in the sandbox for getting mad. she was telling them that he's just a baby, so they shouldn't get upset.

When I ride in a taxi cab with my DC I:
- Use a carseat
- Buckle him/her in his/her own seat
- Hold him/her on my lap
- I'd never ride in a taxi with my DC, it's much too dangerous!
