Finishing out first trimester and feeling oddly reluctant to leave my "safety zones" (apartment, backyard, block, street) even though the weather is lovely and I could use the walk. Normal?
15 replies [ Reply | Watch | Options ]sounds kind of strange. why are you afraid? too tired? unmotivated? or is it really some fear?
[ Reply | Options ]Not really a fear--I don't feel scared. I just don't feel like going anywhere or doing anything though I'm happy to entertain at home or go to local restaurants. Like a previous poster said, I'm turning into even more of a homebody.

totally understand - felt a little bit like that the first trimester- now im in second and i feel completely different. walking a ton, enjoying things I used to enjoy (i.e. food) and just feeling much better. hang in there.
[ Reply | Options ]i felt like that in my 1st tri and now in my 3rd - afraid my water will break in a public place, so i stick to the neighborhood. 2nd tri i did everything - you'll be okay

When I ride in a taxi cab with my DC I:
- Use a carseat
- Buckle him/her in his/her own seat
- Hold him/her on my lap
- I'd never ride in a taxi with my DC, it's much too dangerous!
