  • All the exercise in the world cannot stop sagging skin. And nothing is grosser than super tan, wrinkled skin clinging to overly worked out muscles on a "bikini body" older mom.

    • I am 47 yo and work out 3 x week. I don't tan and I don't have a wrinkled body. I have earned the right to wear my bikini. ;-)

        • or: I feel very sorry for you and how you will hate yourself more than you already do when you reach my age. It's really sad. But you're too young and naive to see that now.

        • I'm the 42 yo poster down below and believe it or not, many of us have good skin genes - my mom is turning 75 and has some face wrinkles but no body wrinkles.

        • And you're blind to your shallowness, not to mention the fact that you're not getting any younger yourself.

        • np: not a bikini bod mom, but I have to ask - why do you care? let her wear what she wants and feel good - we should ENCOURAGE this confidence, not tear each other down. you sound small.

          • ITA. That poster has no tolerance and I feel sorry for her when she's old and infirm and winds up possibly relying on people who won't judge her appearance.

        • Why are you so jealous of women who take care of themselves? Your lack of self-esteem is really showing.

    • I'm 42 and have a bikini body but I'm not overly tan, don't have any wrinkles (yet) and have a toned body but not like Madonna.

    • What do you mean by "older"? And just because you'll be too fat to wear a bikini at that age (oh, don't worry, you'll get there too), doesn't mean someone else can't.
