  • Do any of you have vacation homes that you rent out? If so, how are rentals going for this season? We've barely rented out 1/2 of our weeks.

      • It's on Martha's Vineyard, and we're doing craigslist, which worked very well last summer. I think the fault might lie partly with BIL, who's in charge of advertising and isn't the most responsible person, but I'm wondering if it's us or an overal trend.

    • Heard Hamptons was supposed to be "strong" - but we got 1/3 off asking price, roughly, for time period. EVERYONE was eager to negotiate. So, I think things are soft.
