  • what do you make in advance for the seder??

    • whatever I can....soup, kugel, farfel, sometimes the main course depending on what it is (brisket for sure)

        • Generally not, only because I don't cook it far enough in advance to warrant freezing. But soup you can for sure, brisket too.

                • generally speaking, the things that have liquid in them will freeze the best, but past a certain time, I don't bother freezing because I think you always loose something in the taste. What else are you making?

                  • charoset, tzimmes, pot roast, a potato, cauliflower, roasted vegtables, turkey, soup, gefilte fish.... what can I freeze???

                    • charoset I would make that day or day before, pot roast freeze for sure, gefilte fish you can freeze, soup for sure. The rest (vegetables etc.) I would make closer to the date. How much can you make in advance?
