  • Just returned to work April 1st. Having such a hard time with leaving 13 mo. Not because she's upset when I leave, but because she couldn't care less. She's THRILLED to see nanny and actually scream when nanny leaves. I'm glad she's happy, but se ly, I'd love a few tears when I leave or a smile when I return. Flame away

      • OP: not really. I have 3 under 4. We kept our nanny 2.5 days a week during this last mat lave so that my DSs could stay more easily in some of their activities, and so I could spend some time with them while DD got to "know" nanny (precisely to avoid the much harder transition my sons had when she first started with us

    • no flames here. That must be tough, but it truly is better than having to worry all day that she's not happy when her nanny is with her. She loves you, AND her nanny. best case scenario for all

    • I get it. 18 mo ds is over the moon when nanny gets here, won't give me a kiss god bye, instead, waves. Like, go already! And the nanny's not new! I just think like the or. At east he's happy all day...
