    • I have no idea. I have a 5 1/2 YO and he talks about star wars all the time. He's never seen it, no books, no toys, and we have never said anythign about it.

        • that's what I figure. Anyway, yes they are into it. I think its pretty violent for my kid b/c he tends toward aggression anyway.

      • Exactly, my DS a little older. Telling me all the other kids have seen the movie, but I think he is too young. Wish I could let him in on the lingo and characters, without viewing the actual movie. I think he is feeling out of the loop at school.

    • I saw Star Wars when it came out at age 2; I just watched it w/my 3 yo for the first time recently and he loved it.

    • 5-6 is a tad on the young end. There is maybe 1 scence in the original (where Luke's aunt and uncle are burned by the stormtroopers) that is too graphic. Otherwise it's a good adventure story.

    • i remember my dad taking me to see the original movie in the theaters - i must have been 6 or 7? the cantina scene w/ all the creatures was scary, but maybe it wouldn't be to a kid today
