Do you have savings? Would you dip into savings, i.e. sell stock to pay off or just leave savings alone and try to pay off?

I hate to admit this, but I really don't know the answer to that. I assume I am paying more in interest than I am making in the stock market, but I just don't watch my savings very carefully. But, I'd also have to consider the tax implications of sel selling stock, ie. capital gains/losses.
