  • Anyone ever go on classmates.com (or some such) I made the mistake of tooling around on it and then I tried to cancel and every day I get alerts from them that my former parochial school classmates are trying to contact me. I see no evidence of that but I do see the old names out there. It's bizarre.

    • if you made a profile and put your e-mail in, if a classmate wants to contact you, the classmate will email you directly. Other than that, the emails from classmates.com are just to get you to go to their site, see their ads and possibly get you to 'join'...if you didn't pay any money, you didn't really 'join'...you just gave them your info for their database. So if you made a 'profile' and answered some questions, another one of your former classmates who reallly 'joined' by paying $ can see what you wrote. They can also see your email and email you directly.
