    • parts was cumbersome, I felt they did help prevent gassiness. When I had the twins a couple of years later, the thought of having to clean two x the bottles plus all the extra parts was a non-starter.     • I used the glass evenflow 4 oz with a nuk-nuk nipple. Worked great, no worries about BPA, no funky milk scum on bottles. Tried the glass 8 oz but they were a little too heavy. By the time our DD was old enough to actually throw the bottle, we transitioned to a sippy cup....

      • Their old liners contained BPA, but testing showed it did not leach. Anyway, we luckily didn't buy them until they got the new BPA-free liner (2008). There's a picture online of the liners so you can tell the difference (new one is lighter, not brassy)....

              • I supplement with Baby's Only by Nature's One - you can find it at Whole Foods or online. It uses organic milk, no BPA in the cans, etc. It also smells better than a lot of the other formulas. It says that it is a "toddler formula" but that is b/c they want to encourage bfing for younger babies....
