Just donated my Jansport in hopes of finding something a little less frumpy for my heavy laptop. Starting to travel a lot more lately and want to be comfortable, practical, yet somewhat stylish (not trendy). Thank you. 17 Replies [ Reply | Watch | More ]

I do two 2-3 day trips a month (not much) - I know the flames are coming, but I always bring a large Vera Bradley duffel for clothes, etc. and a large canvas Longchamps bag for laptop (bought a little sleeve for it), book for the plane, wallet, etc. I pack a smaller purse for the trip. You give people prone to breathe less irrational conclusions way too much credit. If they are still clinging to their emotional opinion about what happened 23 hours after the transcript of the grand jury was released it is very unlikely they are capable of rational thought. [ Reply | More ]

Look, none of us was there. But HIS account is hardly proof that this was justified. Maybe it was, maybe it wasn't, but since we can't hear the harrowing account of his victim, this hardly seems fair to judge the incident by one person's account. [ Reply | More ]

The grand jury made its decision based on a ton of witness accounts and forensic evidence. I understand why they made the decision they did; even if you could entirely disregard the cop's account, all the other evidence and witness testimony was so contradictory, it seems there's no way a prosecutor would be able to meet the requirements for "beyond a reasonable doubt." That said, regardless of the specifics of this one case, we still have a huge problem in this country, and I'm glad so many people are pissed and protesting. [ Reply | More ]

Today, everyone is crying about why the governor didn't deploy more guard troops yesterday, and nobody is saying boo when 2200 men with ar15s and military fatigues descend on Ferguson. I was going to have her wear it for her party, but wondering if it's over the top for a 2 yr old to be wearing a designer dress? We never buy her stuff like this, and don't want people to think we're trying too hard, she's spoiled, etc etc. Am I overthinking it and should I let her wear the dress?
