[ - ] Ladies who have had tubal ligations- have you had any negative side effects? I am pregnant with my third and am sure I don't want another. I planned on having my tubes tied but now doing some online research and a lot of people seem to have negative experiences. I'm not sure if it's just the usual worrying online medical info. But now I'm thinking maybe just get an IUD. I am having a third c section and don't want any additional recovery issues! 10 Replies [ Reply | Watch | More ]

np. If you are definitely done with kids, ligation is the most secure method. IUDs can migrate and they are not 100% effective. My neighbor got pregnant with one in place, they couldn't remove it, she carried the whole pregnancy with it - then she had her tubes tied after delivery. [ Reply | More ]

[ - ] Saw my brother's family last night and we got to talking about school lunches. I grew up eating school lunches-my mother wasn't going to make lunches and our school lunches were fine. Looking back the kids who brought their lunch either had some food thing or their parents couldn't afford to pay for school lunches. Anyway, I said my boys eat the school lunch. Again, the food is fine and DH and I work full time. My niece who is sophomore in high school said "I would never eat the school lunch. I couldn't eat that kind of food." She said it with an attitude too-and my brother and SIL wonder why she doesn't have any friends. 16 Replies [ Reply | Watch | More ]

[ - ] This is so interesting. This website tells you how frequently your surname appears in the world. I looked up my maiden name, which is pretty rare, since it derives from a unique "off the boat" spelling mistake that was never repeated, so everyone with my last name is descended from the same individual immigrant in the early 1700s. Sure enough, there were 5 individuals with my last name counted in Eastern Europe - i.e., my brother, his wife and their three kids. This stuff is accurate! 8 Replies [ Reply | Watch | More ]
