I have been reading about this lately. I don't know much about European politics or the IMF so I'm not sure how this is going to play out. Greece seems to be trying to force the IMF to cancel their debt. I read they're also flirting with the possibility of joining Russia. I'm really interested to see what's going to happen. OP. I'm just wondering because my mother would qualify in this case. But how would the hours be calculated? Much of her grading work is done at home over evenings/weekends. She also does some early morning tutoring as needed and sponsors school teams. It would be so great for her if this came about and applied to her. I'm not sure how the school will be able to afford it, though. [ Reply | More ]

OR. The other response wasn't me. Maybe not as many people hate it as is my impression, but I've had conversations about it with people. They always think I'm crazy. I think it sells well because it's used in businesses and hospitals and such, but I never see it in other people's homes. My grandma always had only Dial soap, which is why I love it- scent is strongly tied to memory. [ Reply | More ]

Exercise. I seriously feel like a kid at recess at the gym. My internal dialogue when I get changed for gym is "time to put on play clothes" ....which is a whole different aside. Do kids change into play clothes after school these days? [ Reply | More ]

Interesting. I would like to adopt this mentality. I always feel great after I exercise, but I dread going each time, and I count down the minutes to when the hour is over during the exercising. It doesn't really makes sense given that I have so many data points of feeling good after the exercise, you would think that at this point my brain would have caught on that this is something positive that I should be looking forward to. Do you do formal classes or set your own routine? Have you always felt this way about exercising? Any tips on what I can do to enjoy the process more as opposed to only the end result endorphins? [ Reply | More ]
General Topics 07.06.15, 02:46 AM Flag

np: I think some people have more sensitive endorphin pathways in their brains and exercise makes them feel happier than it makes other people. [ Reply | More ]
General Topics 07.06.15, 02:46 AM Flag
»
hm, I always thought the opposite. I know exercise releases endorphins, so I assumed that the people who exercised more were doing it t self medicate for their depression and try to get their depressed brains to "normal" levels, so to speak. When I meet people who go to the gym every day for hours on end, I always picture them as really sad people who need lots of extra endorphins. [ Reply | More ]
