[ - ] How do you make big life decisions with kids? Like where to live?? Obviously if we didn't have kids, we'd stay in the city, no problem. But we can't decide where to raise our kids where we know we'll be happy. Would you feel guilty moving them 2x during their school years? 10 Replies [ Reply | Watch | More ]

I don't know. There is no great option schooling-wise. It's an overcrowded public school or pay 40K for private school. DH is a bit nervous raising city kids. [ Reply | More ]

I did dream feeding. Allowed us all to get much better sleep because baby would start rooting around when hungry. I fed them before they woke themselves up with hunger. Saved my life with both of my kids. [ Reply | More ]

Honestly, it's not a big deal and won't hurt the baby. Seems to me though something this minor is especially annoying to you because you think your sister is super anal to begin with. You have to learn to let these things go or you are in for a lifetime of annoyance with your sister. [ Reply | More ]

[ - ] UB PLEASE help me. I'm supposed to be in a wedding in September. Bride is (was?) my best friend. Her relationship is very transactional, her fiancé is (IMO) emotionally abusive and controlling. I am semi-recently in a GREAT relationship w a guy who happens to be much more successful than her fiancé. This has created a terrible situation where she starts all these little underhanded contests about how nice/rich our partners are. I hate it but her fiancé has really hurt my feelings before and I always get upset and engage. My boyfriend and I have had our only fight about it/them. He will not go to their wedding, I don't blame him. What should I do? Back out of wedding? Talk to her? Any way to fix the friendship? I am the only member of the wedding party who is not immediate family. 57 Replies [ Reply | Watch | More ]

I have to say that from experience, you probably won't remain good friends with this couple over the long term. If you don't actually want to be in the wedding, you have your chance to get out of it. Her loyalty will (and should be) to her fiancé/DH. Not you. Not promising. [ Reply | More ]

I think OP sounds young but not petty. It's the age. Everyone I knew ran around throwing their rings in other people's faces while they were engaged, and weddings create high tension.
